Monarchs Across Georgia is a collaboration of the Environmental Education Alliance,
teachers, students, families, communities, businesses and others, all
working together to study Monarch butterflies and restore butterfly habitat across the state.

Monarchs Across Georgia
- Offers PLU- credited workshops and annual
trips to Mexico for teachers.
- Offers presentations on butterflies and butterfly gardening to garden clubs and other interested groups
- Works to restore Monarch and butterfly habitat throughout the state.
- Documents the current locations and species of milkweed in the state through our Georgia Milkweed Atlas project.
- Collaborates with University of Georgia, Journey North, University of Minnesota and the University of Kansas to support current Monarch research projects.
- Maintains a website www.monarchsacrossga.org with
milkweed identification photos, links to Monarch & Georgia native butterfly websites and current
workshop and trip offerings.
